The PC platform is widely known for having some of the best games out there, and after a very successful 2023, we can expect a whole lot of amazing games in 2024 as well.
But the question is, which are the most anticipated games for PC this year? Here we made a quick list with some of the most popular and extremely hyped games for the PC platform.

We haven’t seen that much from Obsidian in the past few years, but we do know they have been hard at work on this first person RPG. The idea of exploring a massive world where it’s going to bring us great spells, shields, guns and tons of quests is quite amazing.
But the thing that truly stands out is the immersive aspect of the world, along with the vibrant fauna.
It’s also important to note that Avowed takes place in the world of Eora, which is in the same universe as Pillars of Eternity. Everything we have seen so far gameplay-wise for Avowed keeps us very excited for the game’s release sometime late this year.

It was expected for us to have an action RPG with the action set in the Chinese mythology. Ever since Black Myth: Wukong was shown to the public, the game has managed to blow people’s expectations away.
The visuals are astonishing, and the souls-like approach to combat seems to have a lot of people excited.
The story is also intricate, with tons of secrets, which encourages us to explore and try out new things, while also enjoying the unique aspects of the handcrafted world.
8. Dragon’s Dogma 2

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a sequel that has been in the making for over a decade. What’s great is that we have a very similar gameplay to the first title, and we continue that story, but with a unique focus on character development.
The rich game world encourages exploration, and we do focus on our party and their skills.
Another cool thing about the game is certainly the huge focus on massive bosses, which are scattered all over the world.
7. Alone in the Dark

Horror game fans certainly know the Alone in the Dark and they have fond memories of it. However, we didn’t have a new game in this series for a while, and that might deter people from trying it.
The Alone in the Dark remake is coming in March and it’s set to bring a very distinct perspective for players of all ages.
The game world is recreated with great attention to detail, and we also seem to have a lot of new, interesting additions as well.
One thing is certain, the demos and gameplay have us all excited, so if you are a fan of this genre, you’ll definitely want to give it a try.
6. Homeworld 3

Homeworld 3 is presenting us one of the most impressive space themed space RTS games out there. The game is focused not only on bringing in a massive scale story, but also a variety of tactical approaches to space battles.
We haven’t seen a Homeworld game in a long while, and this one is set to bring in an exceptional, full 3D space battle experience unlike never before.
While it did suffer from a slight delay, we still think that Homeworld 3 has tons of potential and an extremely interesting world for us to explore and conquerr.
5. Path Of Exile 2

If you’re a fan of Diablo or Last Epoch, then it’s a good idea to keep an eye out for Path Of Exile 2 as well. The game is set to continue the story from the previous Path Of Exile, while adding in a variety of new locations, powers and builds for us to check out.
The game is set to be a lot more complex, it will come with 12 character classes and a massive skill tree. And yes, there is a new skill gem system for us as well.
As fans of the previous Path Of Exile, we are excited to see what the developers are preparing for us, and the gameplay we’ve seen so far seems extremely promising.
4. Star Wars Outlaws

Some of the latest Star Wars games have been hit or miss, but with Outlaws, Ubisoft is focused on bringing us that rebel experience we always wanted to have.
We get to play a rebel that tries to make her name known in the world, completing bounties and trying to stay alive.
The game will allow us to go through a variety of different worlds within the Star Wars cannon, and also some new ones.
There’s also space combat too. All in all, the Star Wars Outlaws presentations have been excellent, and we are excited to see this title come late during the year.
3. Hades II

Hades was a cult hit for action RPG titles, and despite being an indie game, it brought in vibrant visuals and an extraordinary story.
Sure, it wasn’t perfect, but it managed to deliver on the dungeon crawling aspect, with great progression and a fun roguelite system.
Hades II is entering early access very soon, and it’s set to be one of those incredible games that continue the story of the original, while also bringing some amazing new elements and a rich story.
2. Stalker 2

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is another one of those games that have been in development for many years.
Despite a very challenging development cycle, the fully fledged S.T.A.L.K.E.R. sequel is finally coming. We get to explore Cernobyl in a unique way, and also become a part of an epic story.
What’s cool about this particular game is that your choices matter. That means your ending and quest availability will depend on what you do within the world.
Plus, we get to encounter deadly anomalies, dangerous artifacts and tons of enemies, so what’s not to like?
1. Zenless Zone Zero
Zenless Zone Zero is a free to play urban fantasy action RPG. It will be free to play when it comes out, and it’s set to offer us a vibrant world with unique anime elements.
What’s exciting about the game is definitely the unique character roster, but also the fact that we can explore the world the way we want, battle with/along other people and engage in epic fights with bosses.
The progression system is set to reward players, and we still get to have really good customization too.

These upcoming PC games are definitely worth checking out if you are very passionate about playing games in 2024.
There’s a lot to be excited when it comes to any videogame genre on PC, and we guarantee there’s a lot to enjoy here too.
Not only that, but everything from the quality to the visuals of these games is exceptional, and the developers did a very good job at generating hype for them.
